What will happen if I write a script to turn your lights on and off every second? First off, you're not the first person to think of that. Secondly, the software has built in countermeasures to detect and stop automatically scripted activity. It would work for a little while, longer than someone would reasonably do it manually, but not very long from a script's perspective. The software will then start to implement delays, and if the activity continues, a permanant ban. Your choice.
