Instructions for the RC Car Scavenger Hunt

Here's another game for people to play with the RC Car. I'm going to place some objects around the house visible from the RC Car's perspective. Your objective is to find these objects and capture an image. Whoever captures the image first gets credit for that image and will be listed in a news entry 3 days after the start of the hunt. If this works out well, I'll have more hunts, with a more complicated scoring system, etc etc. But we'll see how this one works. To capture an image, click on the scavenger capture link. You will have to have the car locked at the time to do so. This prevents someone else from capturing the picture first if you're the one that found it, but don't delay too long. Put your name as the caption on all your captures. You don't have to name the object you're capturing, however, only your first 10 captures count. This prevents you from just taking pictures of EVERYTHING and hoping for the best. There are 7 items, so that gives you 3 free screwups. :) For this first contest, these objects are unique. There's only one of them in the house, so therefore only one item will count. I won't move any of the items between the time the hunt starts and it finishes. There is only one item per room, so if you or someone else has already found an item in a room, you won't be finding any more in there. Here are pictures of the items: The Bomb The Bunny The Club The Fan The Funnoodle The Metronome The Morning Star The hunt begins Friday morning at midnight (CST) and will end Monday morning at midnight (CST) or whenever all items have been successfully discovered. The captures page will work during the contest, so you can see what people have already found, or you can go ahead and just submit what you find. Only the first correct submission counts. If the first submission was incorrect, i.e. the wrong object, I will amend the caption to specify this so others can continue hunting for it. Good luck!
