Object of the Day: The Morning Star of Gertie |

Also known as a Mace, although that's the name given to a similar ball at the
end of a equally sized handle, without the chain, but that's just an issue
of symantics. Purchased in a flea market back in 1993, it has long since
been a staple of a collection of other equally cool looking, yet useless
toys. And when Gertie came to visit, she needed a scepter. Of course, I
own none of those, so I let her use this as a substitute.
