Web controlled chess/checkers. By this I mean a chessboard whose pieces have magnetic bottoms, and a robotic arm of some sort with a magnet underneath the chessboard, which could move the pieces around, thus playing chess. With a webcam, of course. Or perhaps some other, simpler game. Tic-tac-toe?
EDIT: Magnetic board games already exist. Find me some links to some of the products and also some open source code for a chess game that would be easy to hack for this purpose.

What do you think of genetically miefiodd crops? Ronald is a farmer. He owns and operates a significant farm that chiefly produces corn. It is time to plant his crop and he's considering what to order. He has to pick whether or not or not to plant and develop a genetically miefiodd model of corn. A gene from a bacteria may be inserted to the corn to create it pesticide resistant. This would enable him to spray a bigger quantity of pesticides on his crop, as a result killing insects and other pests with out killing the plants by themselves. It might improve his yield, resulting in greater profits. Times are already tough and he could use the additional dollars across the farm. On the other hand, he also wonders about the long-term results of utilizing genetically miefiodd products and pesticides on the ecosystem. What type of corn do you think Ronald ought to plant and why?
