||Time based bans for jeeves, so you can ban someone for 5mins, 30mins, 1hour,1day,week,etc..
Edit by Restil: Problem with that is, if I have a problem with someone such that I don't want them around now, I probably don't want them around ever. If all we want to do is keep them out of the channel for a bit, we have moderation and channel kick/bans to use. I tend to prefer not to use that, as it just aggravates people. Aggravating someone truely annoying is not going to make things better, and aggravating someone who just made a stupid mistake is going to make us look bad.

Yes, I have done this in the past and it works just fine. The key as you have already petoind out is that you must be responsible enough to pay off the credit card before it starts accruing interest. When I have done it in the past I have made sure to pay off the credit card one month ahead of time so that I didn't cut it close.You can do the same thing with a credit card with 0% but without the cash advance but it doesn't work out quite as well. Simply charge all of your normal expenses to the credit card and when the monthly bill comes, pay the minimum and put the rest in your money market account instead paying off the balance.When I did it my interest rate on the money market was around 5% and the I netted about $450 out of it. That is not enough to make you rich, but it sure buys a lot of beer! And it truly was free money.

Anytime you are able to buy a house; do it. Just make sure the house is in good condition thguorh-out so it will hopefully last long enough for you to get most of it paid for. You don't want to make a lot of repairs that you didn't know about while making payments also. Check the plumbing (pipes under the house too), heating and/or A/C systems, roof. I always think of the property as having good drainage in case of flooding, etc.Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. You may not have any credit history. It is good if you don't have any bad credit history. If you need a co-signer since you are so young; try to have papers drawn up where they can't take your house away from you at anytime.Good luck to you.
