When this project is back in full swing, I suggest creating the following relationship categories:
For IRL relationships:
* Grew up together
* Originally met IRL
* Have met IRL
* Married/partnered
* Parent/child
* Sibling
* Other relative
* In-law
For online relationships:
* Met online
* Met on DMI
* Partnered (acknowledged as a couple online only)
Profiles with existing relationship links could then be searched by any combination of these criteria. For example, if I'm seeking people who are in-laws *and* met on DMI.
